College Visits to Roycemore
This week, we have eight college representatives visiting our school. All of them are the first readers on student applications to their schools. Please know that I have been getting wonderful feedback and thank you notes from admissions officers complimenting you all on your "excellent" and "thoughtful questions." Leaving such a positive lasting impression helps these representatives advocate for you when their schools begin to make decisions!

Seniors!

• I am calling a meeting of all seniors on this coming THURSDAY, October 20 at 3:30 pm in Room 235. This meeting should last no more than 20 minutes.
• Are you applying Early Action or Early Decision by November 1? Have you requested letters of recommendation to your teachers and college counselor? If the answer to the first question is yes, the second should be yes, too. If it is not, please see me immediately.

• How to find the kind of college that best suits you
• How the admissions process works (generally speaking)
• When to do what
• Where to find what (e.g. the College Counseling for Griffins blog)
